Nature Trail

Across the street from "the garden" is a nature center with a pond and dirt trail. The kids like to go here to feed the ducks and the fish. But what Nathan really likes are the rabbits that run around the trail. You have to be real quiet to sneak up on them, and Nathan is good at that. One of the rabbits let him get about 5 feet away from him. 

Annie likes the quail that run around making noises. She sits on the steps and just watches them without saying a word.

The Garden

We took the kids to a garden park today and they loved running around looking at all the flowers. There is a kids section called the "edible garden" where they grow vegetables for you to eat and have flowers that you can smell. I tried a radish and it was disgusting.

Stef's Birthday Cupcakes

Since we didn't have any time on her birthday, Nathan and I had to make Stef's birthday cupcakes a week late. I just told Nathan what to do and supervised him and he did most of it himself. He had a hard time cracking the eggs but he was able to do it. 

He was very excited the entire time and kept singing and saying "Happy Birthday....to you". He loved the cupcakes too, he made quite a mess.

Easter Sunday

This is the best I could get of Nathan and Annie together in their Easter clothes.

Nathan's Easter Clothes

Here is Nathan's Easter clothes that he wore to church. There was another kid in his nursery that had the exact same outfit on. 

Nathan was very excited to go to church today. He kept telling me to get my shoes on so we could go.

Easter Egg Hunt (Annie)

Annie did very good with the easter egg hunt. She was really good at finding eggs, she kept up with Nathan the entire time. She kept saying "did it!" She wouldn't put her eggs in her basket she just kept all the eggs in her arms.

Easter Egg Hunt (Nathan)

Nathan and Annie had lots of fun on their Easter egg hunt today. These pictures are all of Nathan (The other post will have all Annie pics). 

Nathan was so excited about the eggs that he was shaking the whole time. He would find an egg and say "Look an egg!", and then he would open it up and eat all the candy inside. He did this with each egg he found. He was actually excited to find out that there was candy inside each egg. 

He is very curious about the chocolate bunny that he got, I don't think he knows what he is suppose to do with it. 

Fishing at the Pond

We found a new trail/park with a pond and ducks. The kids loved it and thought the ducks were very funny. They found sticks that they pretended were fishing poles. They sat down and fished for a good twenty minutes. Then Annie kind of fell in the water and he had to go.

Nathan is shaving now

Nathan got a new Thomas the Train shaving kit for his birthday. He loves to shave now, especially when he is in the bathtub. In these photos I am showing him the finer techniques of shaving.
