Merry Christmas

Christmas

Christmas

Christmas Eve

After getting back from our Chinese buffet dinner, we came back and watched the Polar Express movie, had popcorn, made gingerbread men (out of sugar dough), and the kids opened their new pajamas.

Snow in St. George

It snowed in St. George on Saturday. It wasn't much but the kids loved going out and playing in it. Nathan liked throwing snowballs and we were able to make a little snowman as well. The first photo is of the kids waking up to the snow on the ground.

Temple Lighs

We went to the temple to watch their nativity scene and look at their Christmas lights. Nathan was very concerned the entire time because he thought Santa was close by, it makes him nervous. (Thats why he wouldn't face the camera).

Really cool train tracks

I helped build a cool train track with the kids other day. They both loved it so we took some pictures. Nathan took the last photo all by himself.

More Christmas Tree Pics

Here are some more photos of the kids by the Christmas tree. I made some cheesy sepia tone photos, I think Annie's worked out better.

Putting up the Christmas Tree

We put up the Christmas tree last night, and the kids really enjoyed it. When we finished and turned on the lights Annie raised her arms in the air and yelled "It's Christmas!"
Nathan was a really good helper by helping put the tree together and put on the ornaments  .

Nate the Great!

Gosh, I love this kid!  I just have to post some of his funny (without meaning to be) comments!

1. Nathan loves the band Coldplay and recently, while driving in the car, we were listening to one of their songs.  He then surprised me by asking "Mom, will you sing this song to me for bedtime?"
2.  Nathan loves to play with other kids and is surprisingly very outgoing!  While at the park, Nathan spotted another little boy his age and promptly ran up to him and said " I'm Nathan Adam Greer, will you play with me?"

3.  He is getting into the Christmas spirit, even if it is six weeks too early!  Last Saturday Adam and I could hear Nathan stirring in his room and then heard him run downstairs and then back up into our room. He then said "nope there's no presents downstairs." Hopefully he wasn't too disappointed! :)

Thanks Nate for always putting a smile on my face!

Tutu

I bought Annie a pink tutu.  Nathan calls it "Annie's pretty princess tutu."  Surprisingly, Annie likes to wear it!  (I guess a tomboy CAN like a tutu!)  Anyway, here are some pictures of her in her pink tutu.
